![]() "The Hotel Dragonfly is a fabulous hotel" We stayed for one night for my 25th B'day and were very pleased with our choice. Upon arrival we received a complementary upgrade & our room was fantastic. The bathroom was our favourite feature, there was the biggest bath I have ever seen! Bed was so comfy, didn't want to check out! The hotel is located 5 mins walk from the Chester town centre, perfect for shopping, bars & resturants! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay at this hotel again and recommend to all who wish to have a romantic break away. Anonymous Everything, From the warm friendly welcome to the exceptional standards of room, this hotel is a must for anyone! S Grantham The hotel was excellent and the service was very friendly as well. It is in a very convenient location for the city. Highly recommended! D Ormand-stebbings “Faultless!” From the moment my husband phoned to book our room we were bowled over by the service at Hotel Dragonfly. We were sent a list of recommendations for local restuarants with personal reviews which was really helpful. On our way to the hotel Kelvin phoned us to say a parking space had become available at the rear of the hotel and stayed on the phone to guide us in to the hotel as there were roadworks nearby which meant we had to take a diversion. On arrival we were shown straight to our room (number 1) which was fabulous! Really airy and spacious, impressively decorated and impeccably clean. Gorgeous bathroom, with a huge freestanding bath - I could almost swim in it! Loved the iPod dock in the room - a really great touch. The people are so friendly and really take an interest their guests (remembering where we had said we were going for dinner the night before and things like that) which really gives your stay the personal touch. Overall I am in love with the hotel and just sad that we can't afford to stay more often, only for a really special occasion. We stayed for two nights as it was our first wedding anniversary and I'm definitely going to work on my husband to try get him to take me back next year! Tripadvisor “Brilliant in all aspects” This hotel is impressive in many ways; the decor is contemporary, the service friendly and the location is ideal. The rooms are spacious, clean and have that ‘wow’ factor when you walk in. The lighting in our room was lovely with ample lights to create the perfect mood lighting. Breakfast didn’t disappoint either, with the added luxury of the morning papers. There is nothing negative to say about our stay and I would definitely recommend it. Tripadvisor "Excellent boutique hotel very near the city centre" This is an excellent city centre hotel. The room was beautiful, the service was extremely efficient and friendly and i would certainly stay here again. The Dragonfly is a small hotel and serves as a perfect base to access the City of Chester. Mark W “Excellent in everyway” Just returned from a two night stop at the Dragonfly and for the first time I fill the need to leave a comment, all the reviews are correct this is a true gem and would return if we had the chance in the future . The hotel has only been operating for a year but is far better than many other hotels we have stayed in, if you are planning a trip to Chester then look no further than the Dragonfly Tripadvisor “Beautifully chic, charismatic and friendly boutique hotel.” I can't really say enough nice things about this place. It was comfortable, beautifully decorated and a far cry from the blandness of a chain hotel. The owner of the hotel was extremely friendly and attentive. The location too is ideal for Chester city centre and the race course. It may be five-star but it's not to expensive either. Tripadvisor “Chester's Best!” Having stayed in Cheshire hotels several times over the years visiting family, we can safely say they are not geared up to customer satisfaction. They mostly suit the visually impaired who don't mind their cotton bleached, indifferent service and their bacon greasy. Nor are they cheap. Having stayed in some pretty swanky hotels around the world, from New York to Rio, the local hotels are have been a constant dissappointment. Tripadvisor “Fantastic Boutique Hotel” Located seconds from Chester race course and a 2 minute walk from the town centre, this recently opened hotel offers great value, simple but comfy clean rooms and fantastic customer service. Renovated to high standards, the large windows and high ceilings provide real character and and with only 5 rooms this is a real find. Breakfast is both excellent value and all freshly prepared and cooked. Tripadvisor |
